Up to now, we have always done one campaign per country, and from time to time we have combined several small ones. Since our target audience is very specific, I now wondered what would actually speak against a worldwide audience?
If I do AEO campaigns e.g. for the purchase event, I don't care where they come from as long as they buy.

If your ads contain text, this isn't a good idea -- you won't be able to localize the ads at the geo-level if you run a worldwide AEO campaign.

You should exclude from targeting countries in which users obviously will not make purchases. The language for ads I would recommend to choose English. Also, I would recommend combining some countries into groups by CPI, ARPPU, and perhaps language.
